Tradition

Every family in town has a teepee.

It is usually in their back yard or out at their summer cabin.

It is made of white canvas.They cover the ground with branches 

of fur.In the middle there is rocks in a circle for the fire.

On Saturday there was a walking out ceremony in one of the teepee.

It is an old tradition .When a baby turn one year of age,he is in the teepee

with the elder of the family and then take his first step outside holding 

either a gun if its a boy and a pot or a broom if its a girl.

The boys will then become a good hunter and provider for the family

and the girl will stay home to cook and clean......
